One aspect of stories like this that I like is the dynamic of how the boyfriend relates to the main character and the father and whether he ever finds out about what's going on between his father and his boyfriend. In this story the boyfriend never appears. Or for that matter is hardly mentioned. . In other words, the boyfriend is irrelevant. . That is my main gripe with the story. But other than that, it's really good.

The narrator is also really good. He has a pleasant voice to listen to. But it just came up a little bit short and I can't quite put my finger on what it was. What time I'm sure he'll be excellent. .

Since the story did not blow me away. I cannot give it a five, Although it is a story I would read again -- and I usually only read 5 start stories more than once -- I guess you could say this is a high for , so there's that
