This was such an unhinged book and I was here for it all 👏🏼 I LOVED cute but Psycho and I knew I would enjoy this second book in the series just as much. Hazel, Zero and Gonzo were even more unhinged than Bree and her men and I couldn’t read this book fast enough.

I really enjoyed seeing Zeros character become even more unhinged and I loved seeing his therapy with Hazel 😅 Gonzo and Hazel were cute together too! The whole book had me on the tip of my toes and I didn’t know what to expect half the time. I thoroughly loved this book. If you like crazy, unhinged, psycho, MMF, monster romances than this book is for you 👏🏼

Just did the audio ALC and I loved it just as much as the first time I physically read it! The narrators did a great job bringing the story to life.

Cute but Creepy by Beatrix Hollow is a paranormal asylum menage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michael Norman Johnson and Ri Paige. This is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series.

I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship between Hazel, Gonzo, and Zero. Their relationship is messy but oh so hot! You can't help but root for them.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Cute But Deadly to be released on August 11, 2025.

Michael and Ri did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, asylum romance, forced proximity romance, or a menage romance.

Cute but Creepy is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series. This book is about Hazel, Gonzo, and Zero and is told from all three of their points of view. This book is about different characters than book one, but I think you should read book one first.

Hazel has found her way into the asylum so she can get to her brother Baz (who was one of the main characters in book one.) She has some unfinished business and wants to end him.

While she is at the aslyum she realizes not everything and everyone is as it seems. She starts to have feelings for Gonzo and Zero (who is the head of the asylum.) But we learn some secrets about both of them. Can she keep everyone she cares about safe? Will Hazel get her happy ending with both Gonzo and Zero?

I enjoyed this book, and loved the funny moments between all of the characters. Hazel was unhinged, but so is everyone else at the asylum. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Gahhh. I am so happy to be back at Verfallen. I'm not sure what I loved more, this new cast of characters or that we got to hang out often with our old friends. Maybe it's a tie 🤷🏼‍♀️ This was hilarious, spicy, oddly sweet and so much fun, I absolutely loved it.

I really loved the "sister is set to unalive her brother, the only thing that can unalive her" storyline and thought the way Beatrix ended it was so, so good. Hazel was amazing and such a baddie and while my heart broke for her a little, I love the way her part in this story ended. Her men were amazing too, I adored Zero and Gonzo and how they were with Hazel and each other.

The ending was so dang good and it has me soooo excited for Cute But Deadly. I can't wait to see how this series ends.

I got to re-read this one via audiobook courtesy of Pink Flamingo and I absolutely loved it once again. Michael Norman Johnson and Ri Paige were fantastic at embodying these characters, just unhinged goodness abound, and I had so much fun listening.

5 completely unhinged stars! This book was everything I have come to love and expect from Beatrix!

I absolutely loved being back in Verfallen and seeing so many familiar faces. Bute but Psycho is one of my favorite books of all time and I wasn’t sure how I would feel reading a book where those characters weren’t the main characters. But I didn’t need to worry.

I loved Hazel, Gonzo and Zero! They might have been even more unhinged than Bree and her guys and I loved it so much! This book was so fun, funny and of course spicy.

I couldn’t read this book fast enough and now I’m even more excited for Cute but Deadly. I can’t wait to go back to Verfallen!

Cute but Creepy is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series. Hazel is the FMC of this book. She is the phoenix sister to Bazel in book one. Bazel is a basilisk born to phoenixes. Hazel was brainwashed by her uncle to kill Bazel. She went hunting her brother. She got herself put into Verfallen Asylum where Bazel has lived since he was a child. Hazel never thought she would find love. She has two of the most unique mates. I just love this series.

Ri Paige and Michael Norman Johnson did a fantastic job narrating this book.
