Acerca de esta escucha

Contains the complete Catgirl Doctor series.

Catgirls have had a symbiotic relationship with humans since time immemorial. Many young men long to become breeders: humans who are responsible for quelling a catgirl’s lust when they go into heat.

Chris Redford was just a normal college student attending San Diego University for his PhD in catgirl physiology and medicine to become a catgirl doctor. When he comes across Silva, an abused catgirl, Chris finds his purpose in life and shifts to accommodate his new responsibilities. Once he learns about what happened to the young catgirl now in his care, he is forced to confront the darker side of humanity.

Catgirl Doctor contains adult content, themes, and harem situations. It does not pander to prudes.

A good story with very likable characters. The pacing is good with the right balance if action, sexy time, and character development. The narrators did a great job with becoming the people in the story and allowing me to just lose myself in the book.

Very good story

Not too bad, but I wish the author spent more time on original world-building for *Cat Girls* and/or research on what med school's actually like, given how much it's (over) explained.

Relies too heavily on Anime logic and tropes

A different take on Cat Planet Cuties. My only complaint is Varnell has an annoying habit of padding his stories with unnessassary descriptions of every day things. I know how luggage locks and pour over coffee work, I don't need to be told. Detailed descriptions of the procedure for these types of things does not help with world-building or character development... so very annoying. My thoughts are that Varnell is using it as a a cheap and quick way to add to his word count so he can crank out work and make his offerings seem longer than they are. It gets tedious after a while.

highly derivative but not unlistenable... barely.

It was layered in kindness with a dark side I loved it and a happy ending 🥰

Funny and light

The story was entertaining, Two of my favorite voice actors and good to hear some anime tropes set in California.

I got this for the author, was unsurprised by the explicit scenes and then pleasantly surprised by the delicious sounding food

Overall the story was okay, nothing exceptional, but serviceable. The performance was amazing. Christopher Boucher was solid as the main character, with a few fun chances to explore his range. Jessica Threet with lots emotion, great timing, and so many distinct voices that just made the story a joy to listen to. Of the several books I have heard with her in the cast, this might be one of the best performances yet.

Enjoyable amazing performance.

This Audio recording of the Catgirl Doctor Omnibus takes a good story and makes it better. The dual narration style works well, both actors play several different rolls well, and the whole affair is fun from start to finish.

The story follows Chris Redford, a college student, as he goes from rescuing young Silva from her escape at the hands of an abusive owner to his attempt to save an orphanage under debt from a scheming crime lord to navigating the day to day life of a college student, all while falling head over heels into a harem of three unique catgirls.

I did find it a distraction that the story likes to stop in places to describe in exacting detail things that really didn't matter to the story. A prime example would be when the story takes pains to describe the brand and type of tablet Chris uses to draw commissions and how it isn't as good as another specific brand or type. Another might be when the series name drops specific anime the characters are watching and then explains to the reader what they are about like we couldn't just Google them if we didn't know.

Overall, the story is delightfully slice of life with solid drama and believable relationships that all blend together to make for an interesting story. Definitely Varnell at his finest.
