Love the characters!

This was a great book and the characters were great and story arch fun but strong.

Decent plot but overly convoluted

This book could have been shorter and the plots more intentional. This book dragged on for far too long and got boring real fast.

Enjoyed this take on Alien Contact

A lighthearted romance mixed with some self-growth and “what-if” earth met alien civilizations. Enjoyed it and listened to it in one day. Definitely recommend

Good read

Interesting read , enjoyable characters. I always enjoy this author’s work. Enjoyed also the humor, caring characters and light romance.

Some good stuff here

There were depths and shallows in the book, so kind of uneven. The political parts were well done, and the doctoring bits were engaging. I liked the main character's growth throughout the story. The romance parts? Not so good, for me. They felt rather wedged in, and awkwardly written. The love interest guy was dull and one-dimensional. I could have done without him, and had the book just be about the doctor and the political situation. Enjoyable overall. This author is one to watch.
