This mafia romance started off a bit slow for me as it was all about sex and little about the characters. About halfway through, the story really started, surprising me with some unforeseen twist…love when that happens.

Alexei Kozlov has his eyes set on Stephanie Morgan, his plan was to tear her apart, but after meeting her, he decides to make her his. Stephanie struggles with the passion they share as she is a lawyer fighting to put the bad behind bars and Alexei does what is required to protect his family and business.

Though I prefer dual narrators, Skyler Morgan did an excellent job narrating both Stephanie and Alexei.

All and all started off slow but ended with a bang.

It's just what I expect from her mafia story. This action packed story kept me on the edge of my seat.
Skyler Morgan narration is very good. I enjoyed listening to this story.

Skyler Morgan narrated this steamy mafia love story of Alexi and a assistant district attorney Stephanie. They definitely are not the ideal match but Stephanie did not know who Alexi was at first. There are many steamy scenes of raw, kinky s#x.

This was definitely an enjoyable story. Alexei and Stephanie’s story was great to listen too. I hope there’s another story to follow.

The warning that this has graphic descriptions is accurate! This is the 4th book in the Sinners & Saints series and I started with this one. It took a bit for me to figure out the storyline before it drew me in. The narration was excellent!

Sadly I did not love this one. It seemed full of sexy times and I felt like the story focused more on their appetites. Once the story reached about half way it settled into the nitty gritty twisty part of the story.

The characters were a struggle for me as well. I really did not feel they had a connection between the twi main characters. I get and understood Stephanie and also Alexi separately. They both had fascinating stories and even how they meshed together.

I did listen to this on audio. Skylar Morgan is the narrator. He does a good job and is easy to listen to.

Beautiful obsession was a very good audiobook, this whole series has kept me waiting for the next one the whole time. I love them all and can’t wait for what comes next

Stephanie Morgan, after being left at the altar, thought her friends had arranged for the handsome stranger to be her sexy consolation. Alexei Kozlov, would be the first to admit he’s a very bad man, and after one night with Stephanie, he’s not about to let her go! Hot, fast moving, and filled with all the right stuff, “Beautiful Obsession” is dark romantic suspense done right! The characters are fantastic, fully formed and beautifully defined. The dialogue is brilliant, emotive and fabulously narrated. The scene setting is descriptively clear, beautifully narrated and moves the story forward perfectly without bogging down or lagging! I LOVE Piper Stones Dark Romance plots and THIS is no exception! Perfectly, deliciously and decadently balanced with just the right amounts of heat, mystery, suspense, and action, with a few edge of your seat, heart pounding moments tossed in to make the perfect dark romance delicacy! I was drawn in from the first moments and kept throughly engrossed and entranced until the last words were beautifully spoken! No spoilers, but I will say the reveal took me completely by surprise, and as with all of Piper’s stories, once all the facts were presented, it all made perfect satisfying beautiful sense! Five fabulous stars! I loved everything about it!
