I really liked the dynamic between Titus the dragon shifter who can't shift and Connor who has "the sight" because of a few witches.

You just know these two are a package deal and when Cleo comes strutting up to there ranch in Bear form sporting a pink backpack you know it's going to be a good fun book.

This is the second book for me by this author and I loved it. I want more more more. I wasn't feeling the narrator on this book very much but the other book it was spot on.

If you enjoy a good short shifter book this is for you. :)

Whew that was hot! I mean a dragon and a supernatural gifted plus being hot! This was a excellent short listen. Give it a try for sure. The narrator did a good job!

This was a quick, light, HOT read with a very happy ending, and still had room to be sweet and funny. The only thing I didn't like about this story was the narrator. While she wasn't horrible, she sounded like she was delivering the news... until she moaned out the moaning bits (lol). She did very well then. Overall, I enjoyed it.

I liked this book. Definitely enjoyed listening to this. The story was interesting to me.I like how it was More than one shape shifter and creatures in this book. Like witches, bear and dragon. Lol I have no clue as to what conner was maybe he's a dragon to not sure.

how does this narrator keep getting work?! she's worse than Shatner...bad inflection, stilted reading, poor timing, and every character sounds the same. she's the sole reason I'm stopping this series. I can't stand that voice another second. sorry tipton.

What made the experience of listening to Alpha's Mates the most enjoyable?

The suspense of the challenge for becoming the new Alpha Male. It was an exciting part to the book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Orsan.

Have you listened to any of Veronica Heart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I have not. I'm sure that I will do so in the near distant future.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Romance, with a suspense and some action involved.

Any additional comments?

I guess that I wasn't expecting the graphic romance in the story, but it was still worth the read. It helped make the story. I still recommend this book!

I'm sorry...I hate to leave a negative review on a book that might have been enjoyable with a different narrator. I forced myself to listen through to the 1/2 way point and then I gave up. The actual story was interesting. I like the story concept and the characters that I met in the 1st half of the book...but the narrator was grinding on my nerves the whole time. She has a pleasant enough voice/tone but she seems to use an exaggerated speaking cadence in which the ending to certain words are drawn out...repeatedly. For instance "Her hair whipped behind her like a bannerrrrrrr." & "Her bear emerged from her human fooorrrrrmmmm" Nearly every sentence ended like that and it was just too much for me. This may just be a personal pet peeve that won't bother other readers, but for me...I think I'll just read the Kindle Book.

Cute, short story. Love the continuation of the series. The only problem was the narrator. She wasn’t bad, but she read the entire thing like a true crime show, with emphasis on the last word of the sentence/ paragraph. It was very distracting. All in all pretty good.

I loved the writing! Great storyline - Billionaire Bearshifter, Cleo pisses off some witches during a biz deal, and they send her... well, you'll find out :-)

Wonderful humor, fun characters and great sex scenes - plus love conquers all - I'm definitely going to get more A J Tipton stories!
