
The 2025 Women’s Prize
Congratulations to this year’s winners! The Women’s Prize for Fiction was awarded to Yael van der Wouden’s The Safekeep, the Women’s Prize for Non-fiction was awarded to Rachel Clarke’s The Story of a Heart, and Bernardine Evaristo was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for her “transformative impact on literature and her unwavering dedication to uplifting under-represented voices.” Evaristo’s Girl, Woman, Other, a Women’s Prize finalist, won the 2019 Booker Prize.
The Women’s Prize Trust enriches society by creating equitable opportunities for women in the world of books and beyond. Honoring creativity and storytelling through their Prizes for Fiction and Non-Fiction, their mission is to change the world through books by women, opening up pathways into reading and writing for the storytellers and booklovers of tomorrow.
