W. Eric Myers is the author and creator of the Galendor Trilogy, a humorous, family-friendly, cozy fantasy adventure set in the Kingdom of Yorh.

The story began in 1989, when Eric doodled a whimsical medieval character in the white spaces of a calendar. The name "Calendar" eventually became "Galendor," and the character stayed with him.

Eric's creative background spans graphic design, animation, video-game design, and nearly four decades of varied work and travel. He earned a BFA in graphic design from Liberty University, studied video-game design at Full Sail University, and animation at Northern Oklahoma College.

His approach to Galendor brings those experiences together. He designed and engineered the visual identity of the books, including the weathered, antiqued aesthetic of the covers, drawing on his experience with graphic design and video-game texture mapping.

The Galendor stories are written as high fantasy adventures with humor, music, friendship, and a healthy dose of the wonderfully unexpected. The world of Yorh is also brought to life in a fully voice-acted audiobook, featuring professional actors portraying several of its memorable characters.

Eric lives with his soulmate, Joy, and continues to develop the world of Galendor and the Kingdom of Yorh.
