Emmy winning Artist / Filmmaker / Imagineer Tim Landry has always sought new and interesting ways to tell a story. He has enjoyed a long career telling tales through the creation of visual magic, starting with his education at USC Film School and then serving as a visual effects supervisor in commercials, television, and feature films. Tim’s film credits included “George of the Jungle”, “The Sixth Sense”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, and “Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves.” But, in the early 2000s, Tim joined forces with Walt Disney Imagineering, focusing his story-telling attentions on creating dazzling real-world illusions for theme parks and cruise ships, including spectacular and complex attractions enjoyed by millions worldwide. His work draws smiles and gasps every day from guests in theme parks around the world. Tim also served for many years as a board member for the prestigious Visual Effects Society. He was awarded a patent for his creation of a unique display technology. And he has collected numerous awards, ranging from the Emmy to the CLIO to multiple THEA awards for theme park work. His acclaimed feature-length memoir, "Shoveling Pixie Dust" (available on YouTube), won dozens of awards at film festivals worldwide. Now, with the release of “Addie’s Eyes", Tim’s storytelling magic comes to the printed page in an entertaining and inspiring illustrated fantasy novel woven around actual events. He conjures a unique and heart-warming tale of wonder, friendship, resilience, and what it really means to see, not only with our eyes, but with our hearts. Tim’s hope is that readers will come away viewing their own world a little differently--through "Addie’s Eyes".
