Terry Lee is a native Houstonian, a rarity these days, and holds two licensures in the state of Texas: one in chemical dependency counseling, the other in massage therapy. In 2004, she trained to be a volunteer for Houston Hospice, a life-changing training session she believes would benefit all. "Hospice, contrary to popular belief, is not about dying. Hospice is about helping you live until you die," Terry says. Terry admits she is a late-bloomer in the writing world, having her first women's contemporary novel, Saving Gracie, published at the age of 60. Saving Gracie won the 2013 Best New Fiction Award in the Beverly Hills Book Awards. Her second novel, Partly Sunny, was released September 5, 2013 and although is considered Women's Contemporary Fiction, would also fit the YA (Young Adult) category. In January, 2014, Partly Sunny received a 5-star rating from Readers' Favorite. Time Trials, her third novel, was released late November, 2015 and has also received a Readers' Favorite 5-star rating. She is an observer by nature..."ask any close friend or family member. I've studied lines and movie dialogues for years, which can often become annoying to said above friends and family (I can see them nodding in agreement)."
