Once a television director, later a horseback safari guide in Southern Africa, Sophie Neville is back in the UK working on true life stories and fundraising for Christian charities. Her first published memoir 'Funnily Enough' won 3rd Prize in the International Rubery Book Award. Her work in progress, 'The Man Who Got Out of Japan', won the Athanatos Novel Writing Contest, 'A Woman's Write' 2019 and Eyelands Book Awards 2019 prize for an unpublished historical novel. She is currently working on a novel about life before the revolution on Zanzibar.
