In "Raising Little Readers", Shellene Ramsahoye reflects her deep passion for nurturing a love of reading in children from an early age. With over 25 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Shellene offers a unique perspective on early language and literacy, inspiring parents, caregivers, and educators alike. She firmly believes in the transformative power of words, both spoken and written. Her books are not valuable learning tools, but pathways to enriching the connections within your most important relationships.

In addition to her writing, Shellene is an accomplished professional photographer. Her work has been featured in various professional magazines, highlighting her talent for capturing the beauty of the world around us. This artistic vision adds an extra layer of depth to her writing, as she skillfully paints vivid pictures with her words.

When she's not writing or taking photographs, Shellene enjoys the restorative benefits of the outdoors. She loves gardening and hiking on her rural Alberta acreage, where she lives with her husband, a dedicated community physician.

As a proud mother of two young adults—an international model, pageant winner, and makeup artist, and a third-year university engineering student—Shellene understands the importance of fostering creativity and intellectual curiosity from a young age.

Through "Raising Little Readers", Shellene invites you into her world, where language is more than just words—it's an adventure waiting to be explored. Join her on this journey and discover how you too can raise little readers!
