Sabrina Luri was born in Liguria, but her heart is divided between Tuscany and Lombardy—lands of great beauty and memory that have deeply shaped her narrative imagination. After a long career in luxury hospitality, developed in evocative settings such as medieval castles and elegant historic villas, she has transformed her daily contact with history and elegance into a refined sensitivity for atmosphere, detail, and emotion. A passionate reader since childhood, Sabrina has made writing a true space of reflection, where she explores the great themes of life: roots, returns, and self-awareness. Her debut novel, Home Is Where You Are (La casa è dove sei tu), published in December 2024, was born from a deep reflection on the meaning of belonging and the cost we pay when we immerse ourselves completely in a demanding, all-consuming career. As the author herself explains: “When you love what you do, the line between passion and sacrifice becomes thin. You throw yourself into it completely, dedicating every ounce of energy, every thought to that world which, day after day, becomes your life. And it's easy not to notice the price you’re paying.” The novel was awarded an Honour Diploma with Commendation at the Michelangelo Buonarroti International Prize, confirming her talent as an emerging writer capable of touching deep and universal chords.
