Robin Martinez Rice was born in Oakland, California many moons ago. After a long career as an Educational Psychologist and Marriage Family Therapist, Robin left the business to take up the art of writing. Imperfecta is the story of her grandmother, fictionalized. Her second book, Sisters in Pieces is a collection of twenty short stories that cried out to become a novel. Hidden Within the Stones, a mystical adventure exploring the origins of the Crypto-Jews of Northern New Mexico, explores the possibility of Robin's Jewish heritage. Tales of the Elemental Goddesses, is a photo collage of modern folk tales. Day of the Not-So-Dead and Other Morbid Little Holiday Tales explores our human nature and the trouble we get into when we don't curb our impulses. Robin lives in Northern California with her husband and a wide variety of pets.
