Robin MacArthur

Robin MacArthur (1978-) lives on the hillside where she was born in Marlboro, Vermont with her husband and two young children. She is the author of HALF WILD (Ecco, 2016), which won the Pen/NewEngland award for fiction in 2016, and was a finalist for the New England Book Award and the Vermont Book Award.

Her novel, HEART SPRING MOUNTAIN, will be published by Ecco/HarperCollins in January, 2018.

She is also the editor of CONTEMPORARY VERMONT FICTION (Green Writers Press, 2014), and one half of the indie-folk duo Red Heart the Ticker. Her work has appeared in Orion Magazine, Hunger Mountain, Whole Terrain, Shenandoah, Alaska Quarterly and on NPR. You can read more of her work at
