Raymond Hunter Pyle

Raymond Hunter Pyle began writing in 2008 and has published 22 novels in multiple genres. His best-selling novel, "The Gunny," broke new ground when it was published as an audio book. His most popular works have been military and war novels, many of which were inspired by his own experiences as a two-tour veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He has also published mysteries, thrillers, science fiction, and what he calls a feel-good novel titled "A Daydream in Three Quarter Time." In his words, "I'm a storyteller, plain and simple. While the military and war, thriller genre has been good to me, there are so many other worlds to explore." In 2022 Pyle published the third and final novel in his IGOR series and has started work on a high-tech, high-finance thriller. Pyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and an MBA. He served eight years in the U.S. Navy and retired from a 38-year career in computer and communications technology as a Senior Vice President of operations. He resides in Florida.
