January 2018. Watch for the new Raymond Hunter Pyle Vietnam novel. Available for pre-order now. Release date 1/15/18. In my newest novel, Walking on Water, I turn to the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. The brown water navy in the Mekong Delta in 1968 carried the Second Brigade, Ninth Infantry along narrow canals and streams on small but heavily armed and armored landing craft providing mobility in the swampy Delta jungle, and often suffering casualty rates as high as the infantry. Viet Cong Company and battalion sized ambushes from both banks of narrow canals weren't uncommon. Walking on Water is the sixth novel in the Raymond Hunter Pyle Vietnam historical fiction series and my 14th novel overall.

If you are not into military fiction, I invite you to try one of my other novels.
