Matthew J. J. Vea is the son of Matthew Johnson Vea and Ethelyne Elvira Hendrickson Vea. He was born in1951 in Boulder, Colorado, where his parents were attending Colorado State University. He grew up in Boulder, CO, Pittsburgh, PA, Las Vegas, NV, and Richland, WA. He is married to Nadine Louise Russell Vea. Also, he is the Principal of Victory Education Academy (VEA). He is the Father of nine children, six of whom have graduated from the Academy and gone on to some form of higher education. One of his students is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of DeVry University in Electrical Engineering Technology. He has a BSEE from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honorary society. He has worked in the Electronics and Aerospace Industries since 1975 and is currently a Principal Engineer Hardware R&D working for Adva Optical Networking. He currently resides in the greater Dallas, Texas area, with his family.
