Lisa Velthouse is a freelance writer and speaker. She got her start in publishing at 17, when she could still survive an occasional all-nighter. Now in her thirties, Lisa steals time to write when her kids are sleeping and the laundry room is only partially a disaster. She loves writing about God's grace and about everyday faith issues. She also particularly enjoys helping military families navigate the challenges and experiences that are unique to service in the armed forces. Lisa has been married to an active-duty Marine Corps infantry officer since 2010; together they have two young children and live wherever the military sends them.
