Larry Jones (1970 - ) is the Executive Pastor of Connection Point Church, located in the Kansas City Metro Area. He was appointed to this role at Connection Point after 24 years of experience in worship, stewardship, discipleship, and pastoral ministries. Prior to this executive pastor appointment, in August 2021, Larry took a step back into a part-time worship ministry role at his church in order to pursue a high octane mentoring experience with the CEO of a multi-million dollar commercial real estate company headquartered in downtown Kansas City. Over a twelve-month period with this successful commercial real estate entrepreneur, Larry embraced a mindset of extreme self-development - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. God used this time in Larry’s life to mold him into the person he needed to become in order to take on the position of executive pastor in January 2023. As a writer, Larry has been a successful serial blogger for over a decade. In 2016, he wrote a personal finance, self-help book titled Heroic Personal Finances for Christians: Accelerating Past Average With Your Money Plan. Larry lives in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with his amazing, beautiful wife Jennifer. He has four beautiful daughters, one son, and a dog named Lola.
