John Furth spent twenty-five years working with CEOs and their C-suite executives at some of the largest corporations of the world such as Sony, Deutsche Bank, Pfizer and Discovery Communications, helping them develop and implement disruptive and innovative businesses, leadership teams and organizations. During this time, he ran businesses for Accenture, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Hitachi Consulting before becoming a senior executive at Discovery Communications and Sony Corporation. From 2008 to 2013 John was President and CEO of the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF), where he had the great honor of presenting a lifetime achievement to Clayton Christensen, a key moment in his decision to become an expert in disruption. John’s online columns for the New York Daily News and Entrepreneur.com as well as his blogs on topics relating to leadership such as “Celebrating Independence: Learning When to Let Go,” “Today’s Virtual Leaders,” and “Strategy and the Effective Leader,” have attracted a wide following.
