One day my good friend Jim asked me to write the preface for a future book he was thinking of writing. It sounded like a groovy idea to me. I suggested he write it about all the wisdom he's gained over the years and all his philosophical explanations for human nature. He wants to write it about the many life-altering experiences he's encountered throughout the years (i.e. three marriages to only two women, having been in the Vietnam War, etc.) I supposed if some years down the road he gets around to writing it; it will be a combination of the two. I've known Jim for several years now and we've shared a lot of crazy but great times together. Some of his “life lessons" wisdom have even rubbed off on me. If this book is ever written, I'm sure I will have learned even more by then. If I had to pick one thing I've learned from Jim that sticks out most to me, it would be not to take life so seriously. Have fun while you're here on earth and collect all the crazy memories you can share with others. I'm sure this book will be packed full of crazy memories.
