My name is Jane Moe and I live in Provo, Utah. My home state is Iowa, and I attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri, (now Truman University) where I studied creative writing and speech. During surgery in 2006 I survived death, and I experienced an NDE (also known as a near-death experience). I remember a sensation during surgery of leaving my body. I found myself standing in a heaven that was breathtaking in every detail. I was engulfed in a bright, white light that was different from anything I had ever seen. This light caressed my body in a manner that was soothing. My surroundings became a part of me. I was not afraid. The light began to part, and the white color was replaced with with a swirl of gold clouds: brilliant, more magnified, more detailed than our earthly colors. I knew that I had never experienced what was unfolding before me but somehow I felt that I was home. I felt engulfed in a love that was so intense that I began to weep tears of joy. This experience began my fascination and study of our after-life. My first book was published under my maiden name, Jane Lea Dykstra, and the title is, "WHAT HEAVEN IS LIKE." I have also written two books on this subject under my married name, Jane Moe, "I Went To Heaven & This Is My Story," by Jane Moe, which is available on Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com (and B&N book stores). This book was self-published in 2013 and is an LDS version of "WHAT HEAVEN IS LIKE." My third book explains everything I have learned on my journey as I studied our after-life, heaven, eternal families with our ancestors, our spirituality, eternity, and what all these can offer. This new book, "VISIONS OF HEAVEN. What My Near-Death Experience Taught Me About Eternity," written by Jane Moe with Suzy Bills is published by Cedar Fort Books and is available at bookstores, retail stores, and online. My new book is also available as an ebook from Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com.
