Jacory Wiley is a native Houstonian who is aiming to change people's lives – one dream at a time. Although Wiley has faced trials and tribulations for decades, he still strives to use his stories as a vessel to lead people in the right direction. At the age of 5, Wiley's eye was cut by glass in a freak accident – causing him to go completely blind in his right eye. Over the years, Wiley developed a rare eye disease called Sympathetic Ophthalmia in his left eye. As a child, Wiley grew up around bullies who tried to break his soul. However, through prayer and meditation, Wiley was able to visualize his strength and use his testimony to help people – especially kids. Wiley’s first published Children’s book, Vision to Dream, tells the story of a young boy who is visually impaired and finds the love of Beep Baseball. Wiley plays as a short stop for his Beep Baseball team in Indianapolis. Wiley is currently working on his next book that focuses on the disability community through a child’s eye.
