Jonathan Heller Ramsay is a beekeeper, sailor, and writer living in New Jersey. He has degrees in literature from the University of St Andrews and the University of Edinburgh, as well as a Master Beekeeping certificate from Dyce Laboratories at Cornell University. Ramsay has been published by AE: The Canadian Science Fiction Review and Andromeda Spaceways Magazine. Ramsay has a fascination with eusocial insects and swarming behavior. He has been influenced by Adrian Tchaikovsky, Octavia E. Butler, Philip K. Dick, Jeff VanderMeer, China Miéville, N.K. Jemisin, and Ursula K.
