Gail certified to teach at Regis University in Denver and taught fifth grade on the Wind River Indian Reservation. By 2000, she returned to New Hampshire to care for her elderly parents and began teaching writing at NHTI - Concord's Community College. When she isn't traveling, writing, or mentoring memoir writers, Gail enjoys an active lay ministry in her church and adventures with her grandchildren. Gail works as a seasonal docent at the Canterbury Shaker Village.
