Funmilola (Funmi) Asa is is the author of a faith-based practical guide to impactful and purposeful living ' Take Stock of who you have become on the journey to becoming'.

Funmi is aTransformational Insight Translator on a mission to catalyze transformation for individuals and organizations by enabling them to make the step change in performance towards becoming better version of themselves. Leveraging her core strengths in analytical skills and through divine inspiration, she inspires change by translating deep strategic insights into relatable and actionable solutions to drive decision making. She is a system thinker and bring the lens of holistic assessments of interactions and contexts to evaluate complex socio-technical systems such as businesses, relationships, policies, relationships, personal development, and technical systems.

She is a mother, wife, author, public speaker and lover of God. Funmi is a thought leader on key topics in strategy, system thinking, personal development and faith. She is passionate about sharing insights from her life story, experiences and learnings to help others grow and evolve. Her motivation is in God whom she believes that with Him nothing is impossible. Her enablers include opportunities to contribute to a Larger-than-Life goal. Some of her mediums of expressions include her blog on her personal website, her podcast ‘Transformational Insights Demystified’, her social media 'Reflections' and ‘Dear Professional’ series, and her short devotionals collections also on her website, amongst others. She has also contributed a chapter each in two books - an anthology 'Living Boldly', and a professional biography of female engineering professionals 'World of Women in Engineering'.

Funmi is a seasoned professional with over a decade and half years of experience working as an Engineering, Project Management, and Strategy practitioner in the Energy industry. She is passionate about self-development and growth. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University Birmingham, UK; a Master’s in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA from the System Design and Management program; and is currently undertaking the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK. She is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach, alongside other professional qualifications such as project management, agile, and strategic foresight.
