Ellen J. Reed was born in New York City to parents who provided tradition and a loving supportive environment. Her personal journey accommodated her to an early experience of grief and loss which then influenced her life's work as an advanced practice nurse. Ellen learned to integrate her skills in the physical and psychological dimensions of adults; and ultimately created years of excellence in a clinical and consulting practice serving individuals, couples, families, and organizations. In her model of interaction, love becomes the catalyst for all change. Utilizing skills supported by resilience and faith, her book mirrors guiding principles allowing individuals to strengthen their resolve in even the worst situations presenting through life.
