Elizabeth Davis

Elizabeth Davis has been a midwife for over 35 years; 90 percent of the births she has assisted have taken place at home. She also spearheaded national certification for midwives in the United States by founding the Certification Task Force. She is a past Chair of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA) Education Committee, and a past President of the Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (MEAC), a national accrediting body for direct-entry midwifery education.
