Christophe Varidel is a former collegiate and professional basketball player. Growing up in Switzerland, he overcame one challenge after another, defying all odds to live his basketball dream of becoming a NCAA Division I athlete, play professionally, and represent his country as a national team player. After a professional career cut short due to recurring knee injuries, he has helped develop some of the most promising talents from Switzerland through his organization StrideYourPassion. In parallel, he also manages a non-profit organization building and renovating basketball courts in Africa (Guinea-Bissau and Tanzania) to bring local communities together through the love for the game. When not on the hardwood or writing, Christophe enjoys applying his teachings in the pursuit of mastering a wide range of activities such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu, meditation, piano, ukulele, apnea diving, and gaining knowledge in other fields of his interest.
