B.D. Anklevich lives in Houston, Texas. He spends his daytime hours as a video editor for a local television news station. In his spare time, he is a writer, a podcaster, a hiker, a toy collector, a health and nutrition enthusiast, and a husband and father among other things. From 2008 to 2022, he hosted the Parsec Award-winning Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine with his co-host Rish Outfield. The Dunesteef presented short stories and novelettes in full cast, followed by interesting conversation based on the themes and issues the stories presented. B.D. Anklevich and Rish Outfield had a second podcast called That Gets My Goat which covered movies, books, writing, and many other subjects. He now hosts his own podcast called The Anklecast that presents his short stories in a similar manner to the Dunesteef podcast.
