Angus Ridgway is an author, entrepreneur and former McKinsey & Company senior partner whose work explores human potential, leadership and what it means to flourish in a changing world.

During almost two decades at McKinsey, Angus worked with leaders and organisations around the world and led the firm’s work on leadership development for partners. He subsequently co-founded Potentialife with Harvard professor Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, bringing insights from positive psychology and leadership science to organisations globally.

Angus is the co-author of The Joy of Leadership, which has been published internationally and translated into multiple languages.

More recently, his attention has turned to the profound questions raised by artificial intelligence — not simply what increasingly capable machines will be able to do, but what their growing capabilities will do to us.

Together with Emma Allen and Kazim Hussain, he co-authored Outsourcing Your Thinking: How Not to Lose Your Mind to AI and founded The Artistry of Being Human, an initiative exploring what it means to be human in an AI world and how we can cultivate the qualities that will allow us to flourish alongside increasingly capable machines.
