I have been waiting to hear Micki’s story since I started this series and it didn’t disappoint!! I absolutely loved everything about this book! Such a wonderful love story and I’m glad she got her revenge on those who harmed her!! Amazing!!!

I have read all 7 books in the sick boy series and I didn’t think it could get better. Book 7 is definitely top tier, love the story and love the narrators !!

strong FMC, spicy and good narrators. Was so happy to come full circle with Mickey's storyline. Loved the action, and alllll the spice. Also, dealing with mental illness in a real way. This author knows how to entertain and make you feel all the feelings.

This was INTENSE like EXTREMELY with what she went through. It was very uncomfortable at all times but the reality is to this caliber and the writer did an excellent job depicting the narrative.

NOW, the voice narrators are good because I have heard them on a few reads. but not for this book. the guy narrator i was expecting more of a Braxton or dean voice rather then a very soft melancholy voice. also wasn't very expressive.

HOWEVER, I ENJOYED THIS WHOLE SERIES A TON AND CANNOT WAIT FOR MY NEXT READ FROM THIS AUTHOR.

It brought real life out the pages. Delete the elite and you have alot of young girls who slipped through the cracks of the system.

Great change in the storyline. Gets even steamer with the bedroom going to even the next level. Awesome twist in change in characters and unexpected character coming back.

Whew. Vengeful Rotten Casualties was exactly what it promised: vengeful, rotten, and full of casualties. This final ride in the Sick Boys series was dark. Like, check-your-triggers-and-have-a-comfort-blanket-handy kind of dark. Lucy Smoke did not hold back, and I respect the chaos.

Luc. My sweet, stoic, buttoned-up Luc. The quiet genius who spent six books on the sidelines being unbothered and broody turned out to be harboring the biggest emotional gut-punch of the series. We all knew he was smart, but who knew he was also soft for a girl he lost five years ago? Enter Micki: chaos in a corset, vengeance on stilettos, and the ultimate “it girl” of rage-fueled trauma.

Their love story? Think Romeo & Juliet but with more guns, more pain, and a much higher body count.
Micki was fascinating—layered, violent, and so beautifully broken. Groomed, manipulated, and discarded by powerful men, she returns not for redemption, but for retribution. And she delivers it—one dead man at a time. This girl is not here to heal, she’s here to end bloodlines.

Luc’s unwavering support of her—even when her vengeance takes her to the edge (literally)—was gut-wrenching. He sees the shattered pieces of the girl he once loved and still chooses her. But this isn’t a fluffy HEA. It’s brutal. It’s raw. It’s trauma unpacked with a knife.

That said, the book was long. Like… emotionally and physically long. The “full-circle” moments with the rest of the Sick Boys crew were appreciated (hello, closure), but at times the story felt stretched just a bit too far, which slowed some of the emotional momentum.

Still, this finale felt earned. Every ounce of darkness. Every drop of blood. Every tear and scream and tortured kiss. This wasn’t just the end of a series—it was the final reckoning for a group of characters who clawed their way out of hell.

Will I miss the Sick Boys? Absolutely.
Will I need therapy after binging all seven books? Also yes.
Do I need a break from them for, like, a month minimum? FOR SURE.

But hey, what’s a little emotional damage between friends?

I had been patiently waiting for Luc’s story and the way it played out with Micki was PERFECT. Dare I say I loved their story almost as much as Ava and Dean? I’d say it’s a close second for sure. Luc has been so misunderstood over the course of the series and I was pulling for him so hard. My poor Micki. The things that poor girl has been through!? Unfathomable….but the way she was such a BADDIE in spite of it all!?!? I loved them both so much. Such a hard fought and well deserved happy “enough” ending for them. I say that because of how it all played out, I wouldn’t call it an HEA by any means, but that’s what makes it great. 5/5 stars!
