He made me his queen.
Now, he'll either destroy me… or die for me.
When my father was murdered, I didn't grieve—I seized his throne. Cold. Calculating. Untouchable.
Until Lucian Agosti came for me.
The Bratva fears me. New York's underworld bows to me. But Lucian doesn't kneel. He conquers.
The Italian Don makes me an offer I can't refuse. My sister's life for my hand in marriage. My crown for his ring. My body for his pleasure.
He sets my blood on fire and my empire on edge. Every kiss is a power play. Every touch is a battle. But the real war is between my hatred for him—and the hunger he ignites inside me.
I swore I'd never surrender. Now I'm carrying his heir.
When Lucian discovers the truth, Manhattan will burn.
Because the devil who crowned me his queen hungers for more than power. He wants to own every piece of me—heart, soul, and the lies I buried between us.
A dark and delicious age-gap mafia romance featuring: a ruthless Italian Don who claims his enemy's daughter as his queen; a defiant Bratva princess forced to marry the devil himself; an arranged marriage that ignites forbidden passion; a baby secret that could tear two empires apart; a dangerous game where love and power collide; steam level: Inferno.
Book three in the Dangerous Gambit series. Each book features a complete story with its own HEA.
For mature listeners.

In the earlier books, Tatiana came across as reserved, strategic and perhaps even a little cunning. But in this book, she whined and sounded like she was rallying the cheer squad. She was weak when it came to Lucian and that really pissed me off. Given that he killed both of her parents, all she seemed to focus on was the sex and worrying about if she was betraying her family. She never actually tried doing anything about it. Also, the majority of the time she referred to her dad being killed, when her mom was as well. But then once the Yakuza Boss was caught, she was all about ending him for knocking her out, of course it was Lucian who handled it bcz Tatiana didn’t like blood or violence - as the leader of the biggest Bratva in NY.
At least Lucian had an awakening in Italy and tried to convey his regret & guilt & tried to make amends.
I realize this is just my personal opinion and bcz of how the ending wrapped up, I upped my star rating. It is possible that the narration in this book affected my character opinion. While I really likes the narrators in the first 2 books, they sucked in this book. Again, the Male Narrator sounded old and not age appropriate, so it was hard to buy into the whole “he is so hot” trope. The female narrator did have a decent speaking voice, but her delivery came across as whiny & woe-is-me at times.
Over all, a decent trilogy & the ending of this particular book saved it for me. The first book is my favorite.
