Publisher's summary

Laurence’s new lover is half his age. The problem? His relationship is about to make his life a lot more complicated....

Successful, sensible, and settled in his ways, single dad Laurence isn’t looking for love when he runs into the young man who sweeps him off his feet...and onto his knees. With an upcoming raise on the line and a son to care for, he can’t let an unconventional relationship jeopardize the future of his family. He’s a parent first and a lover second, and that’s the way it has to be.

Right?

The only thing Alex loves more than older men is being filthy with them. The problem? Sometimes, it backfires in the worst ways.

Up-and-coming painter Alex is broken in ways others can’t see, and he copes with the pain by drowning himself in experience - especially experienced men. But when he crosses paths with Laurence, he finds himself drawn down an avenue of life he’s sworn he’ll never visit again.

Men are meant to be disposable, and Laurence is only supposed to be a hookup...so why does Alex feel so safe whenever he’s around?

When a matter of concealed identity threatens Laurence and Alex’s bond, they have a choice - rise above the forces that seek to divide them and find happiness with each other, or let their problems grow too great to conquer.

The Problem is an 81,000-word contemporary omegaverse mpreg novel featuring a quirky group of single dads, the naughtiest lace panties you’ll ever hear about, and the gradual development of a relationship between a Daddy and his boy.

Deliciously Wicked!

I loved reading this book but listening to it adds so much more depth and emotion especially with such a wonderful narrator who does a fantastic job of bringing this book and all of its characters to life! A spectacular book! It's hot, steamy, sexy, and deliciously dirty! Laurence and Alex really don't have anything in common and are a very unlikely pairing but they actually are perfect together. They complement each other and their chemistry is off the charts. I really love their interactions and Alex's dirty talk is soooooo HOT!! It was also great to see the friendship and camaraderie that developed between Alex and Matthew. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

a good story made even better by narration

I’ve only read a few omegaverse mpreg novels before this one. The Problem was very good and Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration made it even better. Laurence was a sweetie-pie and Alex needed to be loved. Together they formed an unexpected relationship. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series.

This book is not a problem... ;)

Alex and Laurence. The first book in the series and worthy of all the praise it gets. I loved reading this book when it came out- it was actually my first Piper Scott paperback. When I saw that it was coming out in audio I jumped on it. Michael Ferraiuolo, the extremely talented narrator, made this book even better for me. I truly enjoyed the way he brought the characters to life. I hight recommend this book and can't wait to listen to the next!!

Loved It

Michael Ferraiuolo narrated it, need I say more. Okay, Piper Scott wrote it. Piper and Michael F go together like Batman and Robin, bread and butter, meat and potatoes- you can’t go wrong with them.

Love is achieved through trials and errors

Boy, I looooove Piper Scott. Whatever she writes, be it contemporary, paranormal or omegaverse, she does it so brilliantly. And this book isn’t an exception too. A whole new series with sassy omegas and protective loving alphas, right up my wheel.

Love can happen at any place .. even in an art exhibit. Alex has always had a thing for hot, older guys and he couldn’t resist when he met the older, very hot and sexy single dad Laurent when they met at the art exhibit. Alex has always longed for someone who’ll care, love and cherish him like he deserves. Laurent has brought up his son all alone and now he is ready to start a new chapter in life, to find love and enjoy life. Things seem to go well in the beginning but when his son and an ex of a douchebag got mixed into his relationship with Alex, what will happen?

This book is crazy hot! I mean lace panties, daddy kink and mpreg? All my favorite things neatly rolled together in one book! Laurent and Alex together was just fireworks. I also liked the relationship between Laurent and his son Matthew and the relationship development between Matthew and Alex. And I lOVE the single dad support group. All in all, a great book and Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job with his narration. I can’t freaking wait for the next book in the series.

Problems abound

What a feeling of elation and overwhelming joy I experienced at the end of listening to this . Some very happy tears too. I enjoyed the growth and changes in the relationship between Matthew , Alex and Gwinn. The resolution of the Jason situation was awesome. I can't wait to continue with the next book. I've already read this series but listening to it makes it all shiny and new again. I love it. 💘 The narrator did a brilliant job bringing the characters and story to life.

Greatness at its best!

If you don't know The Single Dads Support Group, The Problem is the first chapter in the lives of a bunch of guys you Will never forget. The level, intensity, and variety of emotions Piper Scott delivered will levar you giddy, giggly, angry, and raw. This is one of her greatest jobs, and Michael Ferraiuolo is perfect, as always. I recommend this audiobook, and the complete series.

Amazing

I love this book. Laurence and Alex find unexpected love one night and it blossoms in all the colors of the rainbow. It's a very good start to a story about single dads. The chats are brilliant and the narrator brings each character to life even though we only "know" them through Laurence's screen. The amount of personality that goes into each character really brings this story to life and I will be re-listening over and over.
This is one of my all-time favorite books. I didn't think it could get any better. But Michael Ferraiuolo proved me wrong.
