“The Fertile Hotwife Goes Black” takes us along with Liana and Gregory as they go from him sharing his cuckold fantasies with her, to actually entering the hotwife/cuckold lifestyle, to an HEA ending I couldn’t have seen coming at the start.

The story moves along at a good pace, and there is enough plot and character development to engage the listener and move smoothly from one sex scene to the next. Raven is known for her sex scenes, and these juicy morsels don’t disappoint. There’s something for everyone here: M/F, M/F/M, F/F, and even some hot M/M action, and all are well written and paced.

I would have rated higher save for a plot point that just didn’t sit well with me, and that was Liana’s instances of cheating on Greg. If they wanted to (and did) create an open relationship, then why should she need to cheat? (And she cheats big!) I realize that this is only a fictional story, but using cheating as a gateway to any sort of open relationship structure, in my opinion, is just wrong even in my recreational fiction.

The narration was just adequate. I felt the narrator put too much emphasis on giving a “breathy” delivery at the beginning of the book, but this was mostly went away by the end of the story. She did a great job voicing the female characters (I would have preferred if she used Liana’s voice for the story narration.), but the male voices need some work.

Raven Merlot knows here way around the hotwife/cuckold lifestyle, and “The Fertile Hotwife Goes Black” was an engaging listen. I would definitely recommend if to fans of the genre.

This was a nice, long story. The sex was really well done and the story kept the relationship tension up. This is neither the first nor last book from this author that I’ll be enjoying.

Loved the book but when the female narrator tried to sound like a man it was really creepy. How hard would it have been to get a male narrator to do the male voices.

All the books in this series were presented here and this became a story rather then just several short reads of which some were very entertaining and hot. All together, this became a story that covered a plethora of hotwife scenarios even though there were only two female main characters. This is a good story where two couples test the boundaries of traditional marriage.
