Publisher's summary

Mila

Secrets. Lies. Deception.

It’s all part of his vendetta, and so am I. He stole me, used me as one of his pawns by forcing me into a marriage I wanted no part of. I had to sign my name on the dotted line, and now he owns me…body, mind, and soul. That’s why I ran. I had to escape the monster whose touch corrupted me. Break free from the man who seduced me, the beast who gave me a taste of the darkness.

But now I crave it. I need it. I need him. And now, I’m his to play with…until I break.

Saint

Distraction. Addictive. Toxic.

Mila wasn’t supposed to be anything more than a signature, a beautiful secret, a wife with no voice. Instead, she became an addiction, a complication that could cost me everything—a price I wasn’t willing to pay…until she ran from me.

Now, the game has changed, and the stakes are much higher.

She thinks she’s seen the worst of me, convinced I couldn’t be more vicious and cruel. But I’m about to prove her wrong because I’ll risk everything to get what I want….

Revenge…and my wife.

The Fall of Sin is book two of The Sins of Saint, a dark romantic suspense series intended for mature listeners. The characters are flawed with corrupted hearts and questionable intentions. If you're looking for a sweet romance with a gentle hero and a kind heroine, then this series is not for you.

❤️🖤 MOUTH-WATERINGLY DELICIOUS 🖤❤️

This review is for books 2 and 3 in this very addictive, well-written and well-paced Trilogy coz I just couldn’t stop listening after book 2’s cliffy so I binged both books. And OMG the intense off-the-charts chemistry between Mila and Saint is a hunger that ignites a blast and, coupled with their verbal sparring, it propels this sexy rollercoaster into some turbulent, crazed, choppy waters.

Saint is a breathtaking anti-hero who likes to dirty talk.. he’s sin wrapped in a handsome package. A regal ruler of all he desires and is driven by revenge. He’s shady, ruthless, intense, dominant, dark, mysterious and guilty of so much more.. but he also becomes protective, jealous, obsessive and utterly crazy for one beautiful but challenging woman. Mila stays strong, defiant and fights to be seen as a person rather a pawn through her highly-charged unpredictable clashes with the dominant alpha anti-hero. Her defiance leads to toxic blow-ups, lethal heated stares, dirty demands, lust-fuelled dark desires, sexual punishments, joy, heartbreak, emotional pain and hot pleasures. In their war there’s ceasefires but no surrenders, there’s fear and uncertainty, emotional highs, poisonous secrets, devastating revelations, doubt and trust issues mixed in with their powerful climactic relationship. And there’s beautiful tenderness from the Devil himself.. but the twists and turns and betrayals by family are brutal.

Worth a credit? Oh yes x 3.. each and every credit paid for an intense, highly-charged, emotion-filled, revenge driven hot journey and the dual POV narration by Michael and Charlotte brought Saint and Mila to life, infused their story with the perfect range of emotions and together they delivered a five star performance. And I loved that Bella J wrote Mila as accepting Saint’s combustible flawed personality and didn’t look to change him - instead added love to lighten his dark soul just a wee bit.

Loved the series until Mila turned stupid

I love the arrogance , strength and hardness of the hero and the budding inner strength and vulnerability of the heroine. Book 2 has the same ending as the first… the hero and heroine are out together, the hero asks the heroine to stay by his side and to trust him. But the first time the heroine ran from the Hero which was expected and an obvious reaction of the heroine. At the second outing, the heroine ran again, after a known lying ex lover lied to her though she admitted earlier in the chapter that she loved the hero. Her behavior contradicts the emotional growth shown from book one to book two. I hate it when authors have the heroines personality shift from strong and intelligent to weak and stupid. I read another series from Bella j and this did not happen. I won’t purchase the last book in this series because of this. Stupid heroine get on my nerves. Good luck and I hope you enjoy.

The performance from the male and female narrators was stellar.
