This is a great start to what I believe will be an amazing series by this author! I love stories featuring a group of captivating brothers, each getting his own moment to shine. This book focuses on Shephard’s journey, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’m excited to move on to Jagger’s story next, followed by Hunter’s when it becomes available. Definitely a fun and engaging read or listen. The narration was well done, making the experience even better. I’m looking forward to more!

Received a free audiobook for review. The overall story was interesting but I had some trouble connecting to the characters. I know some of the disconnect was because the Female lead parts were narrated by the same narrator as the male lead character. I think this part was a me issue not the actual audiobook. The narrator did a good job narrating the book overall. I will still pick up any book by Piper Stone because I enjoy the authors books.

Shephard is the first book in the Mountain Men of Danger Falls series. Shephard and Denise meet one night at a bar and have an amazing one night stand. They meet again when there are some murders in the area. They need to work together to solve the cases. Their relationship and love grows from there. Skyler Morgan was absolutely brilliant in his narration of this fabulous audiobook. I highly recommend listening.

Book one was a great start to the series. Shepard and Denise’s story was just as great as I expected it to be. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.

Good story and easy listening and easy to follow. Nice introduction of Characters for the series. Narration was great and the humor was had me smiling and SMH. Well Done to the Author.

Shepard is the first book in the mountain men's of dangerous fall series.
shepherds and denise started off with a Bang love to this first intro in to this wonderful new series.
This was so spicy It was hot, hot ,hot I loved this one it's is another classic story that left me feeling more than satisfied in all the right places it was pure gold plenty of steam and swoon worthy scenes when it came to chemistry it was off the charts this was a fun listen .
Skyler, Morgan is an amazing artist in his narrations he did a wonderful job with this story.

But Denise’s past can’t hold a candle to Shephard’s … Burly, bearded, tattooed, mountain man Shephard Fox … he wants no part of a future with ANYONE! When he and Denise meet .. they are like oil and water … or more to the point, like gas and a flame! He just can’t keep his … uh … mitts off her! And as for Denise’s trusty K9 Pepper, well she has her own opinion! When the nefarious put the future of Danger Falls and all Denise holds dear in jeopardy … it’s up to Shephard to put that past behind him and work WITH Denise if they’re to secure any type of future! This, THIS is an out of this world FABULOUS listen. The plot, the narration, the mystery, suspense and building anticipation, EVERYTHING is PERFECTION! Ohhhh and the heat, scorching! I loved Shephard and I really, really REALLY loved Denise. The brass bahls and sass on that girl, fabulous! I really felt for Shep and all he had been through! I also loved his brothers Jagger and Hunter, and WHOA that dynamic between them! No spoilers, but my breath is positively bated for their stories! The narration was brilliant and beautiful! Perfectly timed, perfectly accented, and emotionally on point throughout, I was held spellbound, throughly in the moment with these characters, captivated by their story, feeling the emotion right along with them. I felt mesmerized as this beautifully tense, soulful, action packed story played out! This one really had it all and I loved every single beautifully written, magnificently narrated second! Five stars across all categories cause I can’t give the twenty it deserves! “Shephard” is truly stunning and I truly loved every single second!

Really would have enjoyed more if male AND female actors were used. Too confusing to know who is thinking/doing/saying what when it is all in the same voice.
Current reader pauses in wrong spots and emphasizes incorrectly -also confusing the basic storyline.

This was a great story of a rough mountain man and a park ranger. It had everything in it and hot sex was on the table. Skyler did an excellent job of narrating it! He brought out the excitement.
