First - I love the voices by Thomas Locklear so it's like heaven to have 3 hot guy heroes - what could be better in a romance novel?!
The story is well done - I might have wanted a bit more complexity in the plot - it was over to soon! But there were hidden agendas and personal histories that drew me in and kept me with the story. The bonds between our 3 heroes are authentic, and their love and desire to protect our heroine depicts the softer side of the alpha male.
As always with Piper Stone the steamy scenes were very steamy... alpha males setting the pace and directing the action. That's not everyone's cup of tea but if you like it, you won't be disappointed,

This is a fun romantic suspense where instead of one hero, there are three to help our heroine put all the pieces together.

You also get a meet cute of mistaken identity, some surprise circumstances bringing them back together and some oil rig forced proximity. As you go along you can tell there is more that meets the eye going on with this situation, but I honestly didn't predict the ending like I can with some other suspense scenarios. I liked that.

Though there were some emotional revelations for the characters, it wasn't a heavy book. It was a dirty fun romp and I enjoyed it.

Thomas Locklear did a great job with the narration. I love his solo work because it's always like a full cast experience in my ears. This time I had a wide variety of distinctive characters that were easy to keep track of.

I requested and received a copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

When Dakota Fleming left the bar with his two friends, he wasn’t amused to see Charlee whaling away on HIS truck. That’s was when he took off his belt! “Rough and Dirty” is a stunningly perfect “why choose” romantic suspense thriller! Seriously this one is PERFECT in every way! The writing is not only beautiful, but perfectly balanced managing to bring out every emotion one could possibly feel! There were moments that were delightfully witty and laugh out loud funny, moments that were heart wrenching and poignant, along with plenty of edge of your seat, heart in your throat, pulse pounding moments that make you want to up the speed to break the tension! I didn’t because this one is just too good to chance missing anything! The plot, THIS PLOT, is truly wonderful! Filled with twists, mystery, intrigue, suspense, action and OMG naughty, so naughty delicious HEAT. I devoured this story like a woman on a mission! I love how Piper Stone’s writing is always so clear and smooth flowing, and this story is no exception. I was completely immersed and left with no unanswered questions after all was revealed! Speaking of the reveal, WOW, this one took me completely by surprise! I loved it, ugly tears, fist pumping, no spoilers, not gonna tell, loved it! Now the narration, holy rockstar Batman! Thomas Locklear really set the bar with his world class, second to none narration. Every vocal choice, male AND female, beautifully performed, distinct, easily identifiable and consistent throughout the entire performance! Every emotion perfectly conveyed and perfectly voiced. I did not have to take a single note, and for me THAT is really saying something! THIS is golden statue narration perfection! It just does not get any better! On the whole, Rough and Dirty is the complete package, writing and narration five star, knocked it out of the park gold and I loved it!

I love this book it was so much fun to read and it’s expensive. It was great. It was interested in reading about an oil rig and what goes on it and the love between them was beautiful

This makes me think of the saying, “I still read/listen to fairytales, they’re just dirtier now.” Hot, hot, hot! Not only is the heroine taken care of by 3 capable men, she also takes care of them. All 3 men have different pasts but she could be their future. Narrated by a super sexy voice and it was all I hoped it would be.

Piper has magic in her brain and in her fingers!
Thomas Locklear has a magical voice! He is super talented when it comes to narrating. I could listen to him read the phone book and get excited! Together they are the perfect combination!

Piper wrote a really great story here full of romance, action, mystery and more. Charli is one badazz chic. She doesn’t take crap from anyone. When she first meets these men at a bar and feels a little humiliated you wonder when the payback will come and your jaw will hit the floor when she comes across them again lol. They are some kinky dominating men. The romance that goes on with these 4 through the book is hot AF. The side story with the fathers and the oil rigs is also a really good mystery. Thomas did a great job playing all these parts.

This story is extremely well written and narrated.It has mystery, suspense and romance, It’s a sweet and sexy listen that will have you laughing out loud. It has a lot of Snark and sass which makes the story even that much more fun. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook and recommend it.
Thomas does an amazing job with the narration of this story. He has a way of telling a story that will suck you in from the beginning. He also has a sexy as hell voice. It’s a must listen.
