Cara had just arrived on another plant to look for work. A pimp alien tried to drag her into an alley to force her to work for him and service lots of other aliens. In walks Bane, a huge man/alien, who knocks him out. He then humiliates her in public by spanking and then taking her until she agrees to go home with him. He makes her walk to his home naked and dripping. He lives in a large beautiful home and takes her over sexually. This was a fast-paced enjoyable book.

Meghan Kelly did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Well written and the plot was good, especially if you like sci-fi and outer space themes. Characters were well done, and though the story was short, it felt complete. Received a free copy of this book from Boom!

What would you do if an alpha male alien kidnapped you? Cara has found out when Bane has taken her saving her from slavery. But what she gets is a dominant male, ready to dish out the discipline if she doesn't behave! Fields has begun to create a new world, with strong willed women and powerful men. This story may be short, but it's action packed, full of passion, spankings and loyalty. Bane at first began to rub me the wrong way, but as we got to see the different sides of him, I definitely softened to him. I love Cara, the spunkiness she has, and her will to survive is amazing. Cara and Bane will surely keep your heart pounding and looking for more. Fields has done it again, brought me a sci fi book I can love.

Meghan Kelly enhances this story with her performance. She fine tunes herself into the personality of each character. I love her Bane, as she finds his inner most difficulty as well as his emotional side. With Cara, she creates that woman with attitude who adjusts to her mate. It's a great interpretation of this book, and I loved it!

Talk about a hot story! I have never listened or read a book by Sara Fields that I did not like! If you love a hot alpha Male "manhandling" then you are in the right place. Please keep the stories coming Sara!

Heroine is Cara. Hero is Bane.

Cara does t know what to do , she gets stranded . She works in an inter galaxy company . Bane saves her but Cara feels threatened so she lashes out . Bane doesn’t like it so he punishes her in a way that sets her off

Meghan Kelly performance was unbelievable. She was fantastic , her voice can never be reproduced . Her tone is strong. She pulls you right into the series

This book was so good. I really enjoyed the story and hotness level. This book is definitely not for those under 18 for its content but the story and narration is well done and the characters are so good together!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. When I see a story by this author and interpreted by this narrator, it's a no brainer if I am going to listen to it. Sara Fields has a wild imagination that comes through in her stories. I was immediately captivated by this story. It is filled with suspense, evil characters, intrigue, a strong no nonsense dominant alien male, and a submissive but a fighter female. Cara first must endure public sexual discipline from Bane, however, much to her dismay it arouses her. Soon she sees a side of him that draws her closer to him. I love how their relationship evoles. Sara's creativity comes through in Bane's physical makeup. Hot,hot,hot! Believe me, there are several panty melting sex scenes. Neither of these two will think twice about protecting the other one.

Meghan Kelly is such a versatile narrator. She creates distinctive female and male voices. She vividly portrays the emotions and personalities of these characters. She immediately pulls you into the story and you don't want it to end. It is truly a listening extravaganza. I highly recommend this Audible book.

This is the first audiobook I have tried. As a commuter with about two and a half hours on the road a day this seemed like something to entertain along the way. Having read romance novels before thought I'd try this genre but step outside the box into some sci-fi. The story starts in very aggressive, almost over the top for me but I let it go and things settled into a more consensual agreement as the story went on. Story has a lot of detail to keep you in the story. All in all very entertaining "read" and a nice engaging distraction from traffic.
The narrator Meghan Kelly does an amazing job bringing characters to life and changes tone and inflection to match each character making it easy to follow who is speaking. I will follow her to other works in the romance genre but will tone the topic down a bit.

I really enjoyed this. Definitely some dubious consent so if that’s not your thing this probably isn’t for you, but if it is this book is panty melting. So much going on in this story it will keep you enthralled. So if your in the mood for a sexy standalone this is for you. Loved the narration by Meghan Kelly.
