a good pairing of narrarators just felt somewhat off at times. where you jumped ahead in the story where you felt more should have happened before they hit that point or didn't finish a scene they were in. overall an enjoyable listen just not my favorite story from this author.

I needed this book and didn’t even know it. It’s sweet and the story has minimal to zero angst.

I’ve laughed out loud so many times. Carter and Tanner’s story evolving from friendship to forever love is so cute and so sweet.

A story like this is a soothing balm from the stress and unpredictable quarantine times. 💖

Dr Carter Falcon has inherited his grandfather's run down house which needs a lot of work. Tanner comes to quote the job only to find Carter naked and stuck in a floor board. Friendship blossoms into a relationship. Beautifully written.

I found this audiobook among M/M romance novels included in my Audible subscription. I’d never heard of the author, but gave the book a try. I’m glad I did! It has all the things I love about the genre: hot lovemaking scenes, sweet romantic moments, angst about baggage, love and support of family and friends, conflicts with homophobia, resolution, redemption, etc. I look forward to listening to the next book in the series now!

I found the voices and inflection to be a mismatch from the characters, especially for Andy.
The antagonist has very little character development making his story arch jarring!

Carter and Tanner are very likable characters and it was refreshing for one of the main protagonist to not freak out when they realize they're in love.

Carter's parents, especially his mom are hilarious and a woman after my own heart. Davis is a great character and hope I get to read his story.

The narrators were good, John excels at bringing the feelings to his characters and performances.
