I just loved the world buliding, the characters...the things they do...are awful, but somehow everything is so perfectlly acceptable...really great!

Pros:
This book is so different to anything I've ever read before. The two MMC's are HOT🔥, and the spice 🌶 is delicious 🥵😳. Can't wait for the 2nd book in the series!

Cons:
Ok, so the story is, imo, unnecessarily long.
🤨🤦🏼‍♀️.


Final thoughts: I loved this book and could NOT put it down. It is, above all, entertaining and smutty 🐍 🐍 🐍 .

Por fin encuentro una protagonista femenina que es fuerte y decidida aunque frágil. Estoy cansada de leer de mujeres vacías y que solo encuentran su fuerza por un hombre. Enhorabuena!

I am in with the absurd, ridiculous and over the top everything in this “story”, but it was way longer than it should have been which made it repetitive. There’s barely any plot or character depth or world building, but let’s be honest, who’s reading this book for the plot anyways? ;) There’s so many unhinged stuff happening, I feel the author should’ve embraced the absurd more instead of trying (and failing) to be serious. But I had a good time listening to this book, not going to lie. It’s just that it’s one of those bad-good books, lol

I had to DNF halfway through. It drags on and on and reminded me of a Junior High romance. The writing was really flowery, think Nicholas Sparks meets Monster High. I may finish it someday, but am definitely glad I only spent $4 on it and didn't waste a credit

I didn’t just listen to Kiss of the Basilisk… I devoured it, lived in it, and now I’m emotionally homeless because it’s over. The tension? Delicious. The spice? Reckless in the best way. The characters? Crawled under my skin and set up camp. Every chapter left me bargaining with myself — “just one more” — until suddenly there were none left, and I’m staring at my Audible library like a heartbroken ex. Five stars for the ride of my life, minus a thousand imaginary stars for ending.

The story had tons of potential, and I made it through the entire thing, since it did mmade me curious. BUT. It was sooooo long. it should have been edited to half it's size AT THE VERY LEAST. There is SO much content that contributes nothing, and things that feel way repetitive. Look, i can take cringe and weird, and there's a lot of it. But all of the characters are unrelatable assholes (except for maybe gabriel), especially the main 3. Tam (fmc) is super annoying, being stubborn and childish for no reason, and then go and repeat the things she constantly complaines being done to her by the first mmc, to the other mmc, justifying it by the same logic she didnt deem acceptable when done to her. the plot builds to something that ends up not happening, which is quite the dick move after listening for literally 24h.

I liked the narrator's voice, though characters weren't always distinctable, but it was a real bummer to see 2 narrators and later find out that it's only one narrator, except for a single episode in the end.

Over the top.. not in a good way.
