This picks up right where Clipped Wings Left off. I love Hayden and Tenley together. I love the depth to their relationship and their characters. I also enjoy the playful banter and the supporting characters. Their "family" was lovable and interesting. I would love to hear more about this couple but I have accept that the story is finished.

So happy that they kept the same narrators. Jason and Elizabeth have perfect voices for these characters and their delivery was fantastic.

A great continuation to the series

Such a beautiful love story between Hayden and Tenley. Two people that had suffered tramatic losses and found solace within each other. though it was a wonderful conclusion to their love story, the story was dragged out throughout the book and then rushed at the end. Im well acquainted with the narrators' work, and as always they did a great job telling the story. For those of you who like epilogues, sorry this book does not have one.

Tattooes, piercings and a handsome misjudged bad boy..... well we may have had to of waited for this sequel about two broken and complex people who found salvation, redemption and forgiveness in each other's arms...... but boy was it ever worth it. There was lots of everything - drama, misunderstandings, insecurities, grief, passion, tender touching scenes, desire, romance, scorching sex, heartache, humor, angst, revelations, character growth and sexual tension which all helped to develop a strong unbreakable love as Tenley and Hayden finally find their was back to each other despite the many pitfalls.

Apart from focussing on the very emotional love story, a 'nagging memory' and nightmares leads to new clues, heartbreaking discoveries and an arrest or two, or three in the murder case of Hayden's family. There was also all the usual loveable secondary characters from book 1 who were there to support Tenley and Hayden whenever or however needed.

As well as their all consuming, desperate and intense need for each other, there were very sad and tragic events intertwined too but they weren't too heavy to handle as the main focus was on the turmoil, feelings, sex and emotional needs within the couple's relationship as they built-up trust and faith in on-another again. Eventually, when the ink has dried on the last bit of the poignant tattoo, the two lovers, who have each known tragedy and loss, have finally healed each other and can move on to the deserved HEA that they both fought so hard for. No cliffhangers.

Worth a credit? A well-written, complex, all consuming, intense, captivating, emotional, sexy love story about the lives and devastating losses of two loveable characters and this, combined with book 1, is definitely creditworthy. Not a stand-alone listen tho.

This conclusion to the first book is still leaving me wanting more and not in a bad way... I just didn't want it to end!! I love these characters and wanted to hear the rest of their story! After everything that they've been through both separately and together I just never wanted it to end until the house was full of kids and the shop was being solicited for a reality show!! Lol Such a great story, and I look forward to more books by this author and the narrators!!
