What starts out as a gladiator type story quickly turns into a story full of mystery, betrayal, secrets, lies, atrocities, team work, and hot erotic love. In order for both of them to survive Xander is forced to sexually humiliate Kat in front of the spectators. This begins their journey for survival and love. Piper Stone, of course, puts many twists and turns in their way. Some may even catch the listener off guard. With Piper's words and Richard's narration I was captivated from the beginning and throughout the entire story. Richard Reynolds is a master storyteller who gives the characters their own distinctive voices. He makes the listener experience the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Kat's dad was a pompous @$$hat with a super ego. All the lies and cover ups enraged me. Slaves. testing, fighting for the king's enjoyment had me seeing red. That planet was inferior not superior!!! Ulterior motives and it seems everybody had their own agendas. A lot of sacrifices and ground covered just to end up home again with a sigh of relief !!! There's no place like home!! A wild journey. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions.

Wow, this is one steamy, action packed, out of this world romance! The book grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. Piper Stone’s book, she is a gifted author, I’ve enjoyed several of her other novels but this is my first of her SciFi/Paranormal novels and it is great to see another side of her creative mind. The story and characters she created is imaginative and original, there is excellent character development and world building. Katrina Garens, a human, finds herself in a cell with other girls, she learns she was abducted by aliens and is now a part of some sick game they want her to play. Xander Ashe aka Thor, is from Planet Cryton and was working on Earth when he was double crossed after learning things he was not supposed to know. He was sent t planet Zatan, to participate is a hunger games type of competition, the goal is to survive, the prize is a return trip back home. When he is chosen to play he fights his way to a win and is allowed to pick a mate, he sees Katrina and chooses her. One of the rules is they much try to procreate. The females that are abducted are often taken by force and used as birthing machines. Katrina’s mating saves her from that fate but Xander must show the aliens he is playing along. After some resistance the two make an awesome team as they go to face the elements and challenges. The chemistry between them is undeniable and as they go on they discover some interesting things, some things Xander already knew but it is eye opening for Katrina. This book is cleverly plotted, the twists and turns are mind-blowing! There is also plenty of drama, action, thrilling suspense, some heartfelt and emotional moments as well as erotic scenes that lead to a hot romance. Piper Stone, thank you for another amazing story.

Richard Reynolds is a talented narrator and versatile voice artist. He brings the characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personalty. He does an awesome job covering the roles for both the male and female characters which makes it easier to follow them and their story. He sets the perfect tone for the story, capturing the characters emotions, as well as their passion and drama, projecting it all into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

I love this gritty, alien, sci-fi adventure. Taken from Earth our heroine is entered into the "games". The contender who "wins" gets to select his female and try to 'win' another challenge, which may mean escape from this brutal planet. There are rules that make this duo a "couple".

We also find out this is not as random as it originally seems.
Complete entertainment.

Oh, Piper!!! I couldn't stop listening!!! I don't usually do sci-fi, but.......oh my! This was awesome! I literally got sucked in and couldn't get out til 'the end'! And Richard Reynolds was amazing! The different voices and emotions!! WOW!!
I did request this free audio book and am giving an honest review voluntarily!
This IS worth a credit and a listen!!!!!

I’m sorry I love alpha male books with strong heroines but this girl was a complete twit. Zander should have left her useless ass behind. Note to the author Your writing is great your story is great but your heroine is an idiot. She was not strong she was a bitch.

This was way more then what i was expecting there was twists turns mystery lots of action the sexy times was off the charts .
1 minute I'm on the edge of my seat holding my breath the next i need a ice cold drink to come down from the sizzling hot delicious scene .
You have a hot dominant Alpha male and a Sassy woman that have to work together to stay alive.if i could give this more the 5☆☆☆☆☆ i would!
Narrated by: Richard Reynolds he did a fabulous job being this amazing stoy to life.

I was looking forward to listening to this book. It started off ok. But got worse and worse the more I listed. I tried to listen to it but I couldn't get threw it. Don't waste your time, money or credits on this one. Wasn't well written and very hard to listen to.
