Ezra Hamilton hasn't felt the warm spurt of blood flow through his fingers or the indescribable feeling of pushing a knife deep into someone's flesh in a long time. Too long.

He's been watching a man stalk women, curious as to what he's doing with them. Ezra's never encountered someone with similar dark tendencies before, and what starts off as genuine curiosity turns into much more when Kaspian turns the tables on him.

As their chemistry builds, so does the mistrust. They both know they can't trust a killer, but their inner demons call to each other anyway.

When Kaspian's impulsivity threatens to ruin Ezra's freedom, he knows he has to stop him. Kas appears to be fixated on Willow, a woman Ezra works with. In an effort to not have to worry about her disappearance bringing heat on him, he tracks Kaspian as Kaspian follows Willow into a cabin in the mountains.

There, in the middle of a blizzard, secrets will be revealed and revelations made, but the chances of everybody making it out alive are slim.

This is a dark romance with mature content. A complete list of content warnings can be found on the author's website. Includes "Twisted Valentine," a Dysfunctional Series short story.

What a story. I'm not sure which MC was worse. its kinda dark but tolerable. I can't wait to see where this series goes. The narration is better than I expected. both narrator's are new to me.

Wow!! Definitely Dysfunctional

This is immediately one of my all time favorite audiobooks and one of the best MM reads I’ve ever encountered. Both narrators’ performances were phenomenal. I adored the story. I need to go take a cold shower now.

Obsessed with this

Dysfunction and Twisted Valentine are a duet series that follows a psychopath and sociopath. It is a a M/M serial Killers, age gap, obsessive MMCs with secert identities, dark romance. I felt that the beginning was a little slow but when it got hot it burns. Is it a toxic relationship of course, does it work for them, only in the best ways. I did listen to this on audible and my only compliment that it was done in Dual and not Duet. Usually I DNF dual right away, but because it was M/M I was able to listen to it.

well done

J. Tipstone and Mac Rae were both outstanding with their narration! Every spicy scene had me thinking I was on Quinn and not Audible.

This book had me hooked from page one seeing the relationship between Ezra and Kaspian - psychopath meets sociopath; they are both completely unstable on their own but when they come together? EVEN MORE unstable but much more entertaining and spicy. I loved seeing that they both knew how to act towards one other to both give the other what they need while simultaneously driving each other crazy.

I was SUPER curious where Willow was ultimately going to land in the story - there were definitely slight love triangle vibes but when we get to the final climax and everything goes down the way it does? OBSESSED

Having Ezra's background not be completely traumatic like most MMCs was a nice change, I feel like there seems to be this feeling that when a character is created to be morally black, unhinged, OTT, etc there has to be some insane reason in their background to have made them that way - having Ezra's be pretty typical with no crazy abuse or anything but having him still feel the way he feels is a true reflection of reality and I was SO there for it.

This book had been on my TPR for a while because the synopsis just seemed so different and interesting. And this book did not disappoint, it was so good from start to finish I was in the edge of my seat. You never knew if Quinton and Kaspian were truly going to make it or if one was going to murder the other. But then as you delved more into their past and they got brutally honest with each other, you were totally rooting for their happily psycho ever after. And seriously Quinton had some of the best swoon lines to let Kaspian know exactly how he felt about him. And they are truly perfect for each other. And bonus stories in audio and an epilogue swoon my book girlie heart. My first Isabel Lucerno novel but definitely won’t be my last. The narrators were amazing you truly felt every emotion.
