9 books and still no answer to almost anything. I expected more of a wrap up, but the ending just left a ton more lose threads. I assume this was intentional as to hook you into buying more books in a different series, but I was ready for a real end with a “connect the dots” style finally. The books were entertaining enough (with the exception of Book 2- that one was just irritating), but I was hoping for a better conclusion to the extensive series. Also, is this author getting a kick back from Ford Motors or something? The amount of times the words explorer or mustang are used got a little ridiculous.

Twist and turns, murder and lies and lots of steam!! It’s a big series but was so worth it. I finished all 9 books in less than a week.

I really liked the series but I do have a few small issues (not the right word I want to use). Also spoilers will be said so if you haven’t read it beware!
First, there are some repetitive words and phrases that get a little annoying, use other words please! “F**k you do!” 🙄 Lol
Second, doesn’t Rithe (sorry don’t know how to spell her name as I listened to the entire series) say she’s having a girl at the end of book 3? But she ends up with a boy. Maybe I was mistaken?
Third, why isn’t the tracker the Cruise brothers put into Helene (also spelling?) before she helped them in the order, ever used to track her when she was taken? That irritated me and I was waiting and waiting…..and waiting, for Riven or Cane to suddenly remember she had one THEY inserted! Ugh! Also, I feel like if the Cruise brothers ended up on the “right” side, the writer should have made them a little less awful in the first 6 books. The things the Principal (Riven) says and does with/to Rithe and Vivian is INSANE if they were secretly there trying to find their sister. I get he had a role to play but the crap with Rithe is crazy and I don’t know how she could ever be in the same room with him, sister relationship or not! Idk just didn’t like that, seemed too far, even for these books lol. Overall great story and twists and plots though! I’m hoping to get Silas’ story now! Anymore in the future???
