The Carvers Bitter Sweet Symphony
***Must Read Mayhem first. This is not a standalone novella***

Well Ashlynn has done it again! This novella is dark, filthy and so insightful into the mind of The Carver. It really answers a lot of questions from Mayhem. It’s told in The Carver’s POV and that just puts him in a category all his own because you get a glimpse of his demented and depraved mind. The descriptive writing really brings the characters and the story to life. Everything is so easy to picture and the story is so engaging. I was captivated from beginning to end and I can’t recommend this book enough. The entire series if I’m being honest.

The audio for this was excellent!! Voiced by Asa Miller he did a great job of bringing the MMC’s to life each in their own distinct voice and portrayal of the Carver was so good!! 5/5 Both story and narration.

I can’t say enough how much I love this authors work of amazingly talented witty, anguish, rough, sexy, dirty, murder, unimaginable tragedy the characters go through. Yet they have to have each other like their life depend on it. You have to read this whole series to understand the importance of each character and what kind of relationship they have with each other. Fantastic work that’s worth your time. Have you heard the audio book for this? It’s phenomenal. You can feel the passion and anguish the characters are going through. Fantastic narrators.

it was really refreshing to see the whole Mayhem from The carver and Jamie's perspective and to really see what they were seeing or indulging in, the fear the love the fierce protection, the chaos, everything was soo raw filled with intense emotion that I couldn’t comprehend the stuff that was happening. I really loved this part and the ending tore me once more as it was soo raw and the amount of vulnerability that was displayed 😩😩 I actually cried for them

This was everything I wanted and more. I am obsessed with the Kings of Chaos & Mayhem series, and this audiobook absolutely delivered. The narration was intense and emotional — I was fully locked in from start to finish. If you’re not deep in this series yet, you’re seriously missing out. Dark, gritty, and addictive. Highly recommend the audiobook if you want to feel every single hit.

So good and dark! Alot of what happens in this book is from Mayhem but we are getting Jameson POV. So before you try to dive into this novella make sure you read Mayhem first. Jameson is dark, depraved and unhinged and is completely obsessed and in love with Jade. The relationship between the two is toxic and they thrive on that toxicity and I'm here for it!

The Carvers story is one of my favorites in this series. I absolutely devoured it. 10/10 recommend listening to this one if you’ve read the others. Being inside of The Carver’s head is the insight you need.
