I was completely entranced with this book. The narration was so incredible and gave the female role such a sultry,soft voice and at the same time made the main character sound so sexy and dominating. It was easy to visualize every scene! Oh my ..... I was definitely on edge and totally engaged with the plot. The twist at the end.... Damn!!! I never saw that coming. It was definitely a top listen in my Audible Library. I just hope the other two books in the series get created. I would pay full price and binge listen in a quiet location so I could immerse myself in the lives of Autumn and Gregory.

Needs a women narrator. Tolerable to listen to but disappointed with one narrator. The males voice was like a whisper.

Just like any dark romance... the hold takes time to set in. Wow I loved these characters. Piper stone gives you what you want. Lots of actual story line and lots of hot dominant sex. As always with single narration I wish it was duel.. a female voice would push this into perfection.

One of Thomas Locklear’s gifts is that he can inhabit a female character’s voice so thoroughly, you forget this is a story told by one narrator, not two. This story is a delightful ride. Valentina is an undercover officer sent to Gregory’s kink club, an operation he and his brothers run together. Set in the backdrop of Washington, DC, the club is the escape of the wealthy, powerful, and politically connected. When someone wants to take down the club, there is dangerous intrigue. Gregory and Valentina embark on a passionate, BDSM affair, making both of them question what they think about themselves and about love itself. The story is sensual, and the erotic scenes are well-written and executed. Piper Stone does an excellent job writing erotica with intelligence and depth to the story. I really enjoyed this book.

If you like an Alpha male and a smart stand up female lead who finds herself submitting without any resistance, you will enjoy this book, The story has substance and keeps you engaged. and Thomas Locklear's voice brings the sex scenes right into your psyche. There definitely is kink, so be aware if this is an issue for you. I have already re-listened to this book once, and may have to start it again today....
