Kinky and suspenseful

This is my first book by Piper Stone and while I enjoyed Thomas Locklear’s narration, the complexities of the story demonstrates how important love and acceptance is to everyone. Alexis and Riley were both strong willed intelligent individuals fighting for the upper hand in their daddy themed relationship. Alexis was openly defiant, impulsive and independent. Whereas Riley was extremely dominant, loyal and a disciplinarian! Their story was suspenseful, intriguing, dramatic and full of action. There was plenty of secrets, deceitful intentions, and sexy, kinky times throughout the story! Thomas Locklear’s sexy, deep voice made this a pleasure to listen to!

Hot, sexy, erotic

This is one exciting story that kept my attention. This is dark, steamy, erotic and is action packed, with mystery and lies. Who is trying to sabotage the oil rigs? Is this a set up to discredit Riley? who to trust? Is Alexis part of it?
Add Thomas Locklear as the narrator you are ready for a great listen. As usual, he is superb in his narration. His deep, commanding, sexy, voice brings all the emotions, erotic passion, excitement, to each character. Thank you for a great listen. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

At first, I wasn’t sure

When I started this book, I wasn’t sure if it would be my cup of tea. But, after their first encounter, the story picked up and I liked it. The narrator was fantastic! There are a couple parts where the edits weren’t done correctly, but all in all, worth a listen!!

Back to the oilfield!

I really enjoyed this book! Not only is the story intriguing while still being HOT, but the performance is stellar! Thomas Locklear has a way of bringing all the characters to life that keeps you enthralled.

Action packed love story!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Piper Stone has written an explosively hot love story that is also filled with tons of action. The plot will keep you guessing till the end. Her character development is outstanding. This is a dark romance so be prepared for spankings and rough sex, but Alex is free to leave if she wants to. Alex is a strong, fiery, sassy woman who needs to learn to think before she reacts and she meets Riley who will make her see and feel the error of her ways. Riley is a no nonsense man when it comes to the safety of the men who work for him. He is a dominant, handsome and sexy man. When he sees Alex putting herself and his men at risk the spankings begin. The chemistry really heats up between them. I was engrossed in their love story and trying to figure out who is trying to sabotage their oil rigs and why. Everyone becomes a suspect. There are so many twists and turns that you will never become bored. There were several times I was on the edge of my seat..

Thomas Locklear is an excellent storyteller who makes you feel the emotions of these characters. He immediately captures your attention and holds it throughout this story. He gives both the males and females their own distinctive voices. This makes for an outstanding listening experience.

I highly recommend this Audible book. We even get to hear from Jack from Roughneck.

Big Rig

Alex needed a come uppance and Riley was just the one to give it to her and tone her attitude down. What a crazy fireball!!! Loads of sexual tension with some appeasement at times i. yhe D/s dynamics. Alex could have left at any point so I considered it consensual on both parts. Secrets- his, hers, theirs!!! I enjoyed the mystery , intrigue and dynamics and all that glorious steam!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.

Great suspense

I am enjoying Piper Stone's audios I've found recently. Loved this storyline and the characters were great. At first I rolled my eyes. The heavy hand started quite fast and unrealistically. I don't tend to like "daddy" books and was disappointed that this contained some of it. It wasn't overwhelming though. I was soon caught up in the story. The suspense of how it would play out was perfect. Great ending!

Thomas Locklear is an excellent narrator. He has such a great male voice. I enjoyed his performance!
