Belle made me blush at times but the narration was stiff and choppy, as if it was un rehearsed.

Overall, very entertaining but I would still love it if the author would take the time to length her stories. She always seems to be in a big rush to get to the end, when her stories would benefit with more time passing between the characters, developing their relationship.

I thought Belle was alittle naive - she couldn't figure out Frederick was the Beast? But no matter, the prose flowed well and there was the appropriate amount of kink in all the right places.

The story was great. Just not the lady reading it. I did not like the way she had read it. It wasnt smooth seemed very forced.

dear God, one of the worst narrators ever!!! The reading was so stilted it reminded me of William Shatner.

The narroter drag her words so bad that I nearly stop lesson to it. beside that the book good.

The narrator was the worst I have ever heard. If it were possible, I would give her minus stars. Her intonation was all over the place. She ruined the prose. Didn't anyone listen to the book before they released it to the public? I hope this woman never narrates another story. My ears are still bleeding from hearing her read.

Enjoyable Story, but Horrible Narrator

Ok I was actually looking forword to hearing this book. Unfortunately the narrator made it impossible to get through she constantly had this breathy voice she used to narrate and at the end of every sentence she elongated the last word as if she was trying to sing it through. The plot was Ok but I was too put off by the narration to continue.

I've really been looking forward to this coming out on Audible, but the woman reading the book is absolutely atrocious. It's more in the delivery than her voice, so I blame the director for it, but, she always stresses the last syllable of every sentence. EVERY SENTENCE. It's very distracting and not at all worth what I paid. I am BERY disappointed.

Who hired this woman to read an audiobook???

What disappointed you about Beauty and the Beast: An Erotic Re-Imagining?

The narration was near impossible to listen to. The narrator talked like a valley girl, ending every sentence in a question. It was almost as though she thought that was how you make emphasis, or sound sultry... it was horrible.

What was most disappointing about Shoshanna Evers’s story?

The story had so much promise. An erotic retelling of Beauty and the Beast!! It ended up reading a bit more like a sad rape encounter, not a story of passion boiling past all bounds of cultural acceptance. Very disappointing.

There could have been a lot more sex in the story. It had a good beginning, but somewhere in the middle, it went sideways. The horrible reader made it difficult to get into the erotislcism.
