loved this book, have the kindle version, paperback and now the audio version...loved it... I wasn't too thrilled in Kellie's voice...I would had although her voice was softer...but Gabriel's was perfection

I’ve enjoyed Bella J’s other books.. but unfortunately this story is immersed in the BDSM lifestyle the heroine secretly craves to feel pain enough to drown her and her dead sister’s traumatic teen abduction and to hurt for surviving when her sister did not. Told in past brutal flashbacks and in the unsettled present I listened as she cheats on her fiancé and struggles with the life she’s chosen over the lifestyle she craves.

She’s changed her name, she’s engaged to a rising famous Actor, she shuns all the paparazzi’s flashes, she acts vanilla and she hides her heartbreaking secrets from her new reality. But her dark cravings lead her to Myth’s masked events.. to dark desires and watched pleasures.. to the alpha top Dom who skilfully claims his Sub for the night. And to awkward second meetings when she’s introduced to her fiancé’s absentee father.. a man with familiar blue eyes, salt and pepper hair and an aura that demands attention. A man who has secrets too. However, the chemistry between them is stronger than the guilt, the pull stronger than the push and the ecstasy that comes with dark forbidden desires is the strongest force of them all.

Worth a credit? I did finish it but I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it or that it sat comfortably with me - it being pain-filled and fully immersed in the Sub/Dom lifestyle and with a meek heroine and a dislikeable bossy Sir. So, it’s sadly a no this time. However, if this your guilty pleasure, there are deep feelings involved, it had some good twists at the end and the narrators were good.
